PC Virus Protection and TNI (Indonesian National Soldier)

PC virus protection is something used as the computer’s protection toward virus coming from outside the computer. It is a kind of software that is provided to delete or ruin certain viruses which are detected. Because computer virus exists, so each PC must be protected by such antivirus. This antivirus is called as PC virus protection.

Sometimes, the coming of the virus is unpredictable. Virus of PC can be transferred through many media such internet or floppy disk. Virus at floppy disk shows that the spread of computer virus has been so advanced, that every computer installed must be accompanied with the antivirus installation as the PC virus protection.

In an information technology world, PC virus protection is provided in the form of software having different ability in detecting and deleting virus. Each antivirus is created based on specific aim. There is antivirus which is used to be sensitive to the local virus only and there is another antivirus created which is against to non-local virus. Meanwhile, antivirus which is sensitive to both local and non-local antivirus is rarely found. If there are some, their capability is not really good. That is why; people have to be aware with their PC virus protection.

The existence of PC virus protection can be analogized with the existence of nation’s soldier. In Indonesia, the soldier is called as TNI (Indonesian National Soldier). If PC virus protection is created to protect computer, soldier is formed to protect a nation. Every computer has its own virus protection. Every country also has its own soldier. PC virus protection is used to handle virus disturbance coming from outside, while TNI’s duty is to manage and hold all disturbance coming to Indonesia. The stronger the antivirus given, the safer the computer is. It is the same as the stronger the TNI, the safer the country is.

Therefore, people have to be careful in deciding the appropriate PC virus protection which will be installed. Because there are so many choices, people ought to know the duty and endurance of each antivirus. Besides, each antivirus as PC virus protection needs to be updated every certain time: once a week, once two weeks, or even one month. Every antivirus has its own updated time. It is similar to TNI, too. TNI also needs to be updated to keep its endurance by recruiting new members every year. Because there are so many candidates, TNI must choose the most suitable one to be its member.
